Best Point


Best Point (49˚23'00" 122˚53'00" W side of Indian Arm, NE of Vancouver). Named by the hydrographic service in 1966 after Private Wilfred Marshall Best, from Deep Cove, who was killed in action Sept 17, 1944, aged 37, while serving with the Seaforth Highlanders in Italy. He is buried at Coriano Ridge War Cemetery on the Adriatic coast.
