Berry Point


Berry Point (49˚18'00" 122˚59'00" S side of Vancouver Hbr, E of Second Narrows). Coastal historian John Walbran says that the point commemorates Rear Adm Sir Edward Berry (1768–1831), but it’s possible that it was simply named (by Capt George Richards, about 1860) after a profusion of berry bushes.
