Bell Point


Bell Point (52˚58'00" 132˚14'00" Entrance to Douglas Inlet, W side of Moresby I, QCI). John Bell was the paymaster aboard HMS Thetis and served on the Pacific Station, 1851–53, under Capt Augustus Kuper. Kuper named this feature in 1852 while the Thetis patrolled and surveyed the area as a preventative measure during the short-lived QCI gold rush.
