Barry Inlet


Barry Inlet (52˚34'00" 131˚49'00" Between Mike Inlet and Pocket Inlet, W side of Moresby I, QCI), Barry Island (53˚37'00" 132˚56'00" Just outside Port Chanal, Athlow Bay, W Graham I, QCI). According to QCI historian Kathleen Dalzell, both features were named by Capt Absalom Freeman in the early 1910s after Capt B Barry, Freeman’s former mate on the Flamingo and later skipper of the Canadian Fishing Co trawler Celestial Empire.
