Auchterlonie Point


Auchterlonie Point (48 ̊48'10" 123 ̊16'22" E side of N Pender I, Gulf Is). Lawrence Auchterlonie (1839–1917) and his family emigrated from Scotland to N Pender I in the early 1880s and established a farm. Lawrence’s son James (1867–1912) took over as soon as he was old enough and raised sheep, pigs and Jersey cows.
