Atrevida Point (49 ̊39'00" 126 ̊26'00" N entrance to Muchalat Inlet, Nootka Sd, W side of Vancouver I), Atrevida Reef (49 ̊55'00" 124 ̊40'00" Near E end of Savary I, Str of Georgia). The 36-m Atrevida (meaning “audacious”), a Spanish naval corvette under the command of Capt José Bustamente y Guerra, was one of the two vessels in the 1791 expedition to the BC coast of Alejandro Malaspina.
