Asman Point

Asman Point (50 ̊24'00" 125 ̊09'00" NW side of Stuart I in entrance to Bute Inlet). Frank N Asman pre-empted land in this area in 1911 and received a Crown grant in 1920. The feature was formerly known as Steep Point. Nearby Big Bay was originally called Asman Bay, but the name was changed in 1962 to reflect established local usage.
