Archer Islets


Archer Islets (52 ̊31'20" 129 ̊01'45" Off SW side of Aristazabal I). Sapper Samuel Archer came to BC with the Columbia detachment of Royal Engineers, which served there from 1858 to 1863. He stayed on, working as a miner at Lightning Ck (1876–77), Granite Ck (1893) and Lytton (1900–1907), and as a shoemaker in New Westminster about 1908–9.
