Anderson Point (49˚39'00" 126˚28'00" S entrance to Muchalat Inlet, Nootka Sd, W side of Vancouver I). William Anderson (1750–78), from Scotland, was the surgeon and naturalist aboard HMS Resolution, which was refitted at Nootka Sd in 1778 during the third great expedition of Capt James Cook.
