Amor Point


Amor Point (50˚32'00" 124˚59'00" W side of Bute Inlet, SW of Clipper Point). Named by RN surveyor Capt George Richards in 1862 in association with nearby Cosmos Heights, after newspaperman and politician Amor de Cosmos, BC’s second premier, 1872–74. See DeCosmos Lagoon.
