Young, Henry Esson

YOUNG, Henry Esson, doctor, politician (b 24 Feb 1867, English River, QC; d 20 Oct 1939, Victoria). As a young man he worked on the construction of the CPR before studying medicine at McGill Univ in Montreal, in England and in the US. He came west to prospect for GOLD at ATLIN, then remained to practise medicine. He was elected to the legislature as a CONSERVATIVE in 1903.
