WILLIAMS, Bob, politician, town planner, businessman (b 20 Jan 1933, Vancouver; d there 7 July 2024). After graduating in planning from UBC, he became the first director of planning for DELTA, then set up his own consulting firm. Raised in VANCOUVER's east end, he ran for city council in 1964 and 2 years later was elected to the provincial legislature as a NDP MLA for Vancouver East.
