VICTORIA MACHINERY DEPOT (VMD) was one of the most important and long-lived manufacturing enterprises in VICTORIA. Established in 1882 by Joseph Spratt, also the founder of ALBION IRON WORKS, it was located on Bay St near the POINT ELLICE BRIDGE.
