Valhalla Mountains

VALHALLA MOUNTAINS are a range in the SELKIRK MTS and loom above the west side of SLOCAN LK, northwest of NELSON. They were named by G.M. DAWSON, a noted geologist, for the Norse legend about a heavenly palace where warriors went after death.
