TWIGG, Alan, critic, publisher (b 1952, Vancouver). As BC's most devoted literary journalist he has written numerous books, including For Openers: Conversations with 24 Canadian Writers (1981), Hubert Evans (1985), Vancouver and Its Writers (1986), and Twigg's Directory of 1001 BC Writers (1992). In 1986 he also published the first biography of Premier Bill VANDER ZALM.
