TATLOW, Robert Garnet, financier, politician (b 6 Sept 1855, Scarva, Ireland; d 11 Apr 1910, Victoria). He made a fortune in VANCOUVER in shipping and real estate and as H.O. BELL-IRVING's partner in the SALMON export business. In 1900 he was elected a CONSERVATIVE member of the legislature, where he became finance minister in Richard McBRIDE's government in 1903.
