SIHOTA, Munmohan Singh "Moe," politician (b 18 Feb 1955, Duncan). He was the first Indo-Canadian elected to the BC legislature. He was raised in Lake COWICHAN, and after studying social work at UBC and working briefly as a social worker he went to law school at the UNIV OF VICTORIA and was called to the bar in 1982.
