SCOTT, Blayney, fishing equipment manufacturer (b 4 July 1924, Calgary; d 26 Apr 2000, Victoria). After serving in the merchant marine during WWII, he built a troller and fished the BC coast until 1952, when he founded Scott Plastics Ltd in VICTORIA.
