ROTA, Darcy, HOCKEY player (b 16 Feb 1953, Vancouver). Raised in PRINCE GEORGE, he brought his high scoring to the WHL's Edmonton Oil Kings in 1970. In Edmonton he helped the team reach 2 Memorial Cup national championship tournaments, scored a league-leading 73 goals in his final year, and was named a first team all-star.
