Powell Forest Canoe Route

POWELL FOREST CANOE ROUTE is an 80-km circuit through a series of LAKES and connecting portages near POWELL RIVER 145 km north of VANCOUVER. Completed in 1983, the entire trip takes 5–7 days along a route that includes Lois, Horseshoe, Nanton, Dodd, Windsor, Goat and Powell lakes. A shorter "mini" route takes 3 days. Along with the canoe circuit at BOWRON LAKE PROVINCIAL PARK, it is among the most ambitious paddle circuits in BC.
