PERRAULT, Raymond "Ray," politician (b 6 Feb 1926, Vancouver; d 24 Nov 2008, N Vancouver). Raised in VANCOUVER, he graduated from UBC in 1947. He became leader of the provincial LIBERAL PARTY in 1959 and won election to the legislature the following year. He held his seat through 3 elections but did not manage to improve the Liberal's third party status or its 20% of the popular vote.
