Peardonville

PEARDONVILLE, a farming (see AGRICULTURE) settlement 42 km southeast of NEW WESTMINSTER and now in the City of ABBOTSFORD, developed in the 1890s near the US border on the old trail leading from Whatcom (Bellingham) to MOUNT LEHMAN. It was named after Richard Peardon, an early settler and the first postmaster.
