Nukko Lake

NUKKO LAKE, 26 km northwest of PRINCE GEORGE, is a ranching and agricultural district (see CATTLE INDUSTRY; AGRICULTURE) with many hobby farms and small acreages. The area around Nukko Lk and Chief Lk, its neighbour to the north, was first settled in about 1910. An early ferry across the NECHAKO R provided access to Prince George.
