MUSEUM OF ANTHROPOLOGY is located near the cliff edge at the tip of Point Grey on the UBC grounds. Established in 1947 in the basement of the Main Library at UBC, it was directed for many years by Harry and Audrey HAWTHORN. It moved to its present location in 1976 when Prof Michael Ames became director.
