MURRAY, Edward "Eddie," football player (b 29 Aug 1956, Halifax, NS). He is one of the most successful Canadians ever to play in the NFL. He and his mother moved to VICTORIA when he was 15. When he attended the BC LIONS training camp straight out of high school, coach Cal MURPHY recommended that he go to a US college to work on his game.
