MORRIS, Michael, artist (b 1942, Saltdean, England; d 18 Nov 2022, Brentwood Bay, BC). He moved to Sidney north of Victoria with his family as a child. After graduating from the Vancouver School of Art (see EMILY CARR INSTITUTE OF ART & DESIGN) in 1964 and further studies in England, he became a leading figure in VANCOUVER's avant-garde arts scene in the 1960s and 1970s.
