MORAN, Bridget, social worker, writer (b 1923, Northern Ireland; d Aug 1999, Prince George). Raised in Success, SK, she served in the Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service during WWII, then attended the Univ of Toronto. She came to BC in 1951 to work as a social worker for the provincial government. From 1977 to her retirement in 1989 she was employed by the PRINCE GEORGE school district.
