Montney

MONTNEY, 23 km north of FORT ST JOHN, is a small AGRICULTURAL settlement in the PEACE R district. It was named after Montaigné, chief of the main DUNNE-ZA (Beaver) tribe at Fort St John, who died in the INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC of 1919.
