McMicking, Robert Burns


McMICKING, Robert Burns, mechanic, engineer (b 7 July 1843, near Queenston, ON; d 27 Nov 1915, Victoria). An employee of a telegraph company in Queenston, he joined the OVERLANDERS, a party of gold seekers who in 1862 trekked across the western Interior to the CARIBOO (see also GOLD RUSH, CARIBOO).
