McKINNON, Archibald "Archie," sports coach (b 19 Aug 1896, Govan, Scotland; d 25 Dec 1984, Victoria). He arrived in VICTORIA in 1913 to become its premier sports personality and one of its most popular citizens. As physical education director at the YMCA he built a successful program that produced many champions.
