MATTHEW GOOD BAND started as a folk band touring bars in western Canada. Matthew Good (b 29 June, 1971, Burnaby), a guitarist, singer and songwriter, decided to reinvent his band as a rock incarnation with his fellow Lower Mainland natives Ian Browne (drums), Dave Genn (guitar & keyboards) and Geoff Lloyd (bass). In 1995 they released Last of the Ghetto Astronauts, which attracted heavy airplay on VANCOUVER radio and became one of the best-selling independent recordings in Canadian music...
