KU KLUX KLAN is a secret anti-Catholic, white-supremacist organization based in the southern US but active in Canada briefly during the 1920s and 1930s. A local of the Klan opened in BC in 1925, headquartered at a VANCOUVER mansion in Shaughnessy Heights once owned by William Tait, a lumber baron.
