Kispiox


KISPIOX  () , pop 651 (2001), lies at the junction of the Kispiox and SKEENA rivers, 13 km north of HAZELTON. It is the site of a traditional GITKSAN village, Anspayaxws, and there are 15 TOTEM POLES on display. The area is renowned for STEELHEAD fishing; LOGGING has been the main industry.
