JACKS, Terry, producer, singer, songwriter (b 29 Mar 1944, Winnipeg). He grew up in VANCOUVER and was a member of the Chessmen in the mid-1960s, making appearances with the group on CBC TV's Music Hop. He met Susan Pesklevits, a Saskatoon singer, on the show; they married and became the Poppy Family. Their song "Which Way You Goin' Billy?" reached number 1 on the international charts in 1970.
