Hendrix Lake

HENDRIX LAKE is in the CARIBOO district 90 km east of WILLIAMS LAKE. Noranda Mines operated the nearby Boss Mountain MOLYBDENUM mine between 1965 and 1983, and a townsite for the workers was built at the lake. It is named for "Slim" Hendrix (1870–1938), a local trapper.
