HAYES MANUFACTURING CO LTD was a major BC manufacturer of LOGGING trucks for over 50 years. Established in 1922 by Douglas Hayes and W.E.Anderson, a QUADRA ISLAND businessman, the company began building trucks specially designed for conditions in the Pacific Northwest. In 1928 the company moved to a new plant on 2nd Ave in VANCOUVER, where it remained for 47 years.
