Hardin, Herschel


HARDIN, Herschel, writer (b 17 Aug 1936, Vegreville, AB). He has been at different times a playwright, broadcaster, journalist, arts critic and social activist. After graduating from Queen's Univ in Kingston, ON, and travelling for a couple of years, he moved to BC in 1960 and wrote his first plays, most notably Esker Mike and his Wife, Agiluk.
