GREENVILLE, pop 666, is one of the main NISGA'A villages on the NASS R known to local people as Laxqalts'ap ("dwelling place comprised of other dwelling places"). Traditionally it was a popular EULACHON fishing spot. The English name refers to Alfred Green, a METHODIST missionary who based his activities here from 1877 to 1890.
