Goward, Trevor

GOWARD, Trevor, natural scientist (b 18 Oct 1952, Vancouver). While working as a naturalist in several BC PARKS, he became interested in botanical research; beginning in 1982 he devoted his career to the study of LICHENS. In 1986 he became curator of lichens at the UBC Herarium. He has published more than 70 books and articles on the subject and is responsible for the identification of several new BC lichen species.
