FOX, Michael J., actor (b 9 June 1961, Edmonton). He moved to BURNABY with his family in the early 1970s and at age 15 began his acting career on the CBC television program Leo and Me (Brent CARVER also appeared on the show). After moving to Hollywood in 1979, he shot to fame playing the conservative teenager Alex Keaton in the hugely successful television sitcom Family Ties (1982–89).
