FORST, Judith (Lumb), mezzo-soprano (b 7 Nov 1943, New Westminster). She is one of the most acclaimed opera voices to emerge from BC. After graduating from high school in COQUITLAM she obtained a BMus from UBC in 1966. She studied with Bliss Hebert in New York and Robert Keys in London and made her operatic debut with the VANCOUVER OPERA in 1967 as Lola in Cavalleria Rusticana.
