Ecstall River


ECSTALL RIVER empties into the SKEENA R from the south, not far from its mouth. It drains a lushly forested 840 sq km watershed and supports major runs of SALMON. PORT ESSINGTON, once a booming cannery town, sat at its confluence with the Skeena. See also RIVERS; SALMON CANNING.
