DIVE FISHERIES, COMMERCIAL, in BC employ more than 250 divers annually and had a commercially landed value estimated at $45–50 million in 1999. Limited commercially to invertebrates, divers harvest GEODUCK clams, horse CLAMS, red and green SEA URCHINS, SEA CUCUMBERS, pink and spiny SCALLOPS and OCTOPUS.
