DALSKOG, Karl Einar "Ernie," logger, union activist (b 1904, Kronoby, Finland; d 1992, Coquitlam). He immigrated to BC from Finland in 1923 and went to work in the woods. He became involved in union activity with the radical LUMBER WORKERS' INDUSTRIAL UNION at a time when union organizers were routinely fired and blacklisted by forest companies.
