COMMISSION ON RESOURCES AND THE ENVIRONMENT (CORE) was appointed by the NDP government in Jan 1992 to bring together interested parties—ENVIRONMENTALISTS, FIRST NATIONS, industry, TOURISM and community groups—to develop a long-term land use strategy for the province.
