Chute Lake

CHUTE LAKE  () , 20 km south of KELOWNA in the OKANAGAN VALLEY, was a stop on the KETTLE VALLEY RWY in the 1920s. The Chute Lake Resort now occupies the site but remnants of the station can still be found. Chute is French for "waterfall" or "rapid" and describes the lake's outflow creek.
