BYRNES, James Thomas Kevin "Jim," musician, actor (b 22 Sept 1948, St Louis, MO). He settled in BC in the early 1970s, bringing a blues music heritage from St Louis; as an underaged teen he had learned his craft there by sneaking into clubs. He became a regular on the BC blues circuit, playing with Al Foreman in the Foreman–Byrnes Band and later in the Jim Byrnes Band.
