Buffalo Creek

BUFFALO CREEK is a tiny farming (see AGRICULTURE) and recreational settlement in the CARIBOO lake district, 80 km southeast of WILLIAMS LAKE on Bridge Crk. A school opened here in 1923, a post office in 1934. It was named after an ox team used by a freighter on the old CARIBOO WAGON ROAD.
