Brexton

BREXTON was a tiny GOLD mining community in the BRIDGE R country, 175 km north of VANCOUVER. Originally known as Fish Lake, the settlement was renamed after Bridge River Exploration Co and BRX Gold Mines Ltd, owner of the surrounding claims. It was active in the 1930s and 1940s.
