BOYES, DAVID ALEXANDER, gynecologist, radiation oncologist (b 18 March 1925, Vancouver; d 14 March 2017, Vancouver). After graduating from Queen's University medical school in 1949, he ran a family practice with Dr. John Ankenman, serving the Gulf Islands. Later he specialized in obstetrics and gynecology, joining the BC Cancer Institute in 1960.
